Comparing between college education and the other secondary things we need in life, mostly education comes at the first. Many high school students know pretty much everything about how much college education is essential in their life and many students want to have college education. But, to achieve something, one must work very hard and go through all the obstacles that comes on the way. The increasing cost of college degree has made students harder to achieve college degree. College education is needed to build a secure future for everyone but the main obstacle that comes for the students is how they will pay for their education. To make the money spent by the students feel worth it, colleges and universities should prepare students for their future jobs by provi ding them with proper internship and training. These internships and trainings will help them in their future placement as it will look good in their resume. John Pryor on TEDxUCLA said that,† The three very important things that led to the greater likelihood of having this great job - having an internship or job that allowed you to apply what you were learning in the classroom in a real-world setting.† It shows that these internships prepare students for their future work as it allows them to practice professionalism. Whereas internships will not only help in gathering experience, it will help in building confidence which will be helpful for future. So, colleges should provide internships and trainings to their students as they have spent their money to get it. At present, students take a lot of debt to acquire their college degree as the cost of college degree is increasing rapidly. Since students are spending on their college degree even by taking loans, colleges shou ld provide on-campus jobs to them. Students loans will not cover the entire cost of college and related expenses, so on this time an on-campus job will come as handy.
